What’s Your Risk of Getting a Disease?

I don’t usually send visitors to this blog directly to another website, but here’s an exception. The Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University, has developed an excellent site that enables visitors to answer questionnaires to find out whether their risk of a particular disease are higher or lower than average. Just go to their website, Your Disease Risk, and find out your particular risk of developing cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, or osteoporosis. Along the way, you’ll get helpful information on how you can reduce your existing risk level by appropriate changes in lifestyle, diet, etc. It’s an interesting and educational experience!
